I attended many of the ice shows J...Nice interview. I attended many of the ice shows Jill mentioned, and it became a great Christmas tradition for our family. They stopped doing them a couple of years ago; after Mr. Schulz died, the spark just seemed to leave the whole event. Even though he had little to do with their day-to-day operation, the ice show was obviously his baby, and no one else had his passion or pull to keep them going. Sad.<BR/><BR/>I found it funny that the male interviewer, Ross McGowan, was the same guy who interviewed me on another station's morning talk show earlier this year, twenty-some years after the Schulz interview. He's been a S.F. Bay Area fixture for a long time. I guess he likes the cartoonist beat. Very nice man, a real pro who made it easy for me.<BR/><BR/>Thanks for the mention in your earlier post. I'm a believer in getting the work out there anyway you can and, if it's good, an audience and market will find it.
