The head was called "The Kingfisher", and on the TV show he effectively replaced Amos and nearly Andy as well. I remember most stories centered on Kingfisher, his wife and his mother-in-law.<br /><br />I remember Burr Shafer cartoons being everywhere, most notably "Through History With J. Wesley Smith".
