Thank you for posting something for those of us who stumble on his work and are eager for more!Benjamin L Clarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00489486832142866020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25473451.post-42498264375212441512020-10-11T06:11:40.280-04:002020-10-11T06:11:40.280-04:00Very interesting! I was surprised to see no mention of probably his most famous cartoon (admired by Miles Kington and I think Alan Coren, among others), showing Jane Austen being told by her publisher: "We like the plot, Miss Austen, but all this effing and blinding will have to go"....Andrew Crowtherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17434869632373860181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25473451.post-16409523254043312522016-06-21T07:50:35.264-04:002016-06-21T07:50:35.264-04:00Nice collection of cartoons when viewed all togeth...Nice collection of cartoons when viewed all together. Especially like the captionless ones--good luck finding more. I find he was still cartooning into the early sixties(1963) as there are 3 of his cartoons on a Punch reprint site. Somewhere I have a box of Punch magazines from late fifties and around 1965. Maybe I have some there. If I can locate them I surely look for you.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01498654215155135871noreply@blogger.com
