Snow is predicted for Northern New England, and here's
Don Tobin with an appropriate gag cartoon from COLLIER'S for the occasion.
Like Walt Kelly and Hank Ketcham, Dan Tobin worked in animation for the Disney studios, until the 1941 strike. He began a successful magazine cartooning career. He created a newspaper cartoon panel for King Features titled "The Little Woman" in 1953.
Tobin lived in Laguna Beach, near Virgil Partch, Ed Nofziger, the Interlandi brothers, and John Dempsey.

ReplyDeleteMade me realize that I ought to do some more of those "We All Have To Start Somewhere" postings.
It's laziness . . . just sheer laziness.
