ARGO: In 1979, undercover operatives pretend to film a science fiction movie in Iran to rescue hostages. According to the Rockford Register Star, the real life Jack Kirby is a character in the film.
Actor Michael Parks will portray the King of Comics.
That's Parks as Kirby, third from the left, in this shot from ARGO, according to Giles Farnaby.
As you may know, Kirby's heirs have been shut out of any profit from the many Marvel Comics versions of the characters he created.
