I like to know what a cartoonist's process is and one of the best examples was served up by my friend, the award winning cartoonist Richard Thompson. He showed us a series of early CUL DE SAC strips, but did not have all of the finishes at hand. So,
he posted the pencils (above) of "The Lost Unintentional Adventures of Danders" sequence. Then, later, friends and fans sent him the finishes (it's nice to have fans who are better organized about your cartoons than you are) and
Richard posted the story in its full color "as published" glory.
