No Scanner

My Canon Canoscan LiDE 25 scanner cannot scan. I get a "no driver found" message as of 6am this morning, and Canon offers no drivers for this scanner. That's what their own web page says, along with the advice to call them and have a chat.

Ugh.

Life without a scanner is not good.

Stand by.

EDIT: This scanner is no longer supported for the operating system I have. I was advised to go and consume a new scanner.

Not happy. Not happy at all, Canon!

    Try Gutenprint (free). My Epson driver worked spottily, so I switched to Gutenprint. No problems since.
