The great thing about the video below is that you see the whole drawing process, from start to gorgeous finish: here is French cartoonist Jean-Pierre Gibrat, looking at reference material, and sketching a drawing to its completion. If you understand French, then that's a bonus. But you don't even have to know who Jean-Pierre Gibrat is to enjoy this master at work, old school style; Arches paper, pencil, a ballpoint pen (!!!) and watercolor.
