Blitt, who won the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for his satirical artwork, is best known as “The New Yorker’s preeminent political cartoonist” (Washington Post). During a decades-long career, he has sketched more than 100 of the magazine’s most sharp and humorous covers. In this conversation, he speaks with his distinguished colleague Francoise Mouly, The New Yorker’s long-time art editor, about his career and art.
