Drew Friedman: The Lost Art of George Wach-Steter
Drew Friedman's blog explores the lost work of caricaturist George Wach-Steter (1911–2004). If you grew up in New York City and read the newspapers anywhere from the the 1930s to the 1960s, you would have seen his art. The prolific illustrator's work has, for some reason, not been available online. Thanks to caricaturist historian Zach Trenholm, here's a trove of wonderful art by Wach-Steter, for the first time. Go see.
