Unseen 1970s Christmas Cards by Jay Lynch
So far as I know, Jay Lynch is not a relative of mine. But, like me, he is handsome and talented! Jay worked in underground comics and also at Topps bubblegum, where he did a lot of projects.
Back in the 1970s, he did a proposal for Topps that was shelved. But someone save the roughs. Here's Jay explaining:
"Back in the '70s I designed a series of Christmas cards for Topps. The series never came out. I did the roughs with Jack Davis in mind for the final art. The project never got to the final art stage, though. Somebody salvaged these roughs...and they are online here."
