After drawing the NANCY newspaper comic strip for 22 years, Guy Gilchrist is stepping away effective February 18, 2018. Will the feature continue? Andrews McMeel Syndication has no comment as of now.

The big finale for his last strip, appearing Feb. 18 — Aunt Fritzi’s getting married, y’all! More on that later.
Gilchrist, 60, said he’s giving up the daily “Nancy” strip to concentrate on creating animated TV shows, movies and maybe even a Broadway play inspired by the cartoon characters he’s given life to for nearly five decades.
