From June 2, 1959, here's the complete episode of the long-running CBS TV game show series "To Tell the Truth." This is the program where three people claim to be the same person. Two are lying. Can the celebrity panel (Polly Bergen, Don Ameche, Kitty Carlisle, Tom Poston on this day's show) guess which person is telling the truth?
The reason I have posted this is because cartoonist Virgil "VIP" Partch is one the contestants. Wonderful to see VIP. Total genius. A carton of cigarettes was apparently the going rate for an appearance fee back in those days :-) Thanks for posting this.
