One of my favorite sites to go and look around at from time to time is the "octopus pulps" site. There is nothing here but pulp covers (and comic book covers) featuring a large, usually malevolent octopus -- also known as poulpe in French, polip in Hungarian, and polypous in Classical Greek.
Not only is it fun, but ya learn something!
And there's plenty of spaceships and girls and heroes and octopi!
