Samson

Here is Samson. He is a 6 month old rescued cat. The nice people at Slope Street Cats found him. He was abandoned in a vacant lot. Since then, he's been taken to the vet, been given his shots and received lots of love from his foster mom.

After filling out the paperwork, and having our references checked and writing a check to Slope Street Cats, Samson was officially approved as our pet.

His foster mom, and the woman who found him, brought him over last night, and

S L O W L Y ,

our big orange cat Rufus ("Roo" for short") and Samson are making friends.

I can't help it. I see a cat, I smile. I bet Samson's used to that reaction. A lovely, lanky cat.

As for that Samson-style experiment we were talking about, perhaps if you shaved a small bit from the tip of the tail and see what happens. If it slows him down a little, your older cat might appreciate the deceleration.

I'm curious to see if this posts twice. I never remember my username or password when I post with blogger. It's trial by lots of error. When I discover the right path, I've usually trod it once before.
