The IMDB doesn't have William Shatner in the credits, but it has Leonard Nimoy.
Yes, sad news, Mr. S! "The Shat" won't be in the new movie so sez the publicity hacks. Nimoy's role is more than a cameo and is pivotal to the plot (this is, again, from the Paramount publicity people and from what Nimoy said at last year's San Diego Comicon).
