One of the great TV shows was the original OUTER LIMITS. They were all spooky and very science fictiony. There was almost always a well-meaning scientist in a white lab coat who was the hero.
The shows also had a BEM contract.
By "BEM contract," I mean that they HAD to have a Bug Eyed Monster in every show. Heck, that was the reason you would tune in if you were a pre-teen boy: to see what kind of gross out creature was going to be on that week. The Hairy Green Eyeball 3 Blog shows us many of the OUTER LIMITS monsters from a 1960s Topps' bubble gum trading card set.
