Moebius 1938-2012
Very sad news. Jean Giraud AKA Moebius AKA Gir died in Paris after a long illness. He was 73.
Tributes to the French comics artist master are springing up all over. Tom Spurgeon at the Comics Reporter has a bio here and many video links here.

When I got a contract to do some game animation for Sega, I got an advance check part of which I used to buy the Moebius "Blueberry" graphic novel series (for artistic research of course!) - I was blown away by the writing/art package of "Blueberry". Moebius was absolutely "The Greatest". And don't forget "The Airtight Garage" - I've read it over and over and over
which book is the second, blue drawing from? thanks!

Andrea, the city drawing is from a series of prints from the "World of Arzach" titled La Cité Feu or City of Fire. It was a co-production of 2 great artists, Geoff Darrow and Moebius
