Has anyone contacted Mark Evanier about this yet? One of his many areas of expertise is in the Dell/Gold Key humor comics.

Hello, Mr. Linch!

This very clever cartoonist is Cecil Surry. Brew stories of Barney Bear for Western and a couple of Disney one, include the one with Morty, Ferdie amd L'il Hiawatha published i the firsy "Vacation Parade" Dell Giant, in Summer 1950.
Maybe you have oginal art of this cartoonist?
