As you probably all ready know, Sam Henderson at his The Magic Whistle blog has been doing a series of MAD imitations from the 50s and 60s. In addition, he's been scanning in many international editions of MAD. http://themagicwhistle.blogspot.com/
FYI This photo is from 1954, all the books are from May through July of 54.
