Seriously, last year was the best year for comics sales. Comic books (and graphic novels, etc.) tallied up $1.21 billion in sales last year, an 11% increase over 2018. Heaven knows how things will sort out for this COVID-19, Second Great Depression year, but I'm ever hopeful.
