The Garden As of August 4, 2014

Green and overgrown! Here are the raised beds full of tomatoes (mostly), green peppers, squash and cucumber.

I would have posted this Friday, but I was away.

From top to bottom: cucumber, yellow squash, green peppers. There are a few baby sunflowers poking out of the straw.

The jungle of Roma (and some other kinds of) tomatoes.

A few more weeks, and this will be a bed of flowers.

More Roma tomatoes in the background. Foreground: the old lettuce bed. But the lettuces went to seed and got bitter and were pulled out. Now it's weeds until something better can be planted.
