Don't know if you're serious about the Appalachian Trail, Mike, or just doing a riff on Gov. Sanford.
If serious, are you going to try conquering Mt. Washington in your home state? I've never dared it, but some of my happiest hiking days were spent on approximately 60 miles of the AP in Massachussets. We had a bunch of children along, and we made it to the top of Mt. Greylock (highest point in Mass.).
Order my new book MURRAY THE BORD: THE ANGRIEST BIRD IN THE PET SHOP! 72 pages of caged fury! Fun for all! Help support that nice fellow who does this here blog!
