Video: Shrewsbury International Cartoon Festival UPDATED

Now in its 7th year, the "UK's biggest cartooning event," the Shrewsbury International Cartoon Festival is a week-long gathering of cartoonists and fans. This year, it's from April 22nd to the 25th. The town, so I have been told by Roger Penwill, is literally taken over and in every pub, alley and town square there are caricaturists, cartoon originals on display, and many other events.

Appearing in the video: Helen Pointer, Will Dawburn, Denis Dowland, Andy Davey, Neil Dishington, Steve Best, Kipper Williams, Bill Stott, Jackie Fleming, Clive Goddard, "The Surreal McCoy," Nathan Ariss, John Robers, Dave Brown, Pete Dredge, Steve Bright, and Martin Honeysett.

UPDATE: From The Bloghorn:
You can find a lot more coverage of the event at http://thebloghorn.org which is run by the UK Professional Cartoonists' Organisation.

Bloghorn is written by Matt Buck, Alex Hughes and Royston Robertson all of who will be reporting from the actual event at the end of the month.
