Here's a complete true story about me submitting gag cartoons in person the The New Yorker. This story is over a decade old and I am glad to re-tell it. It's from the first issue of a mini-comic series called "Raconteur," which is now out of print.
I did this in person for many years. The Times
Square offices of Conde Nast were about a 25 minute subway ride away.
I am still a bit clueless about why I do it, but ever since 1st grade, CARTOONING MATTERS!
