René Goscinny wrote two classic works of kid lit in the 20th century: LITTLE NICHOLAS (with Jean-Jacques Sempé doing the drawings) and ASTERIX (with drawings by Albert Uderzo).
So far as I know, it was only in the 21st century when these two Goscinny-created worlds came together.
In the 2009 movie LITTLE NICHOLAS, the worlds of ASTERIX and NICHOLAS collide as Nicholas and his friends are inspired to hatch a scheme based on an ASTERIX comic book.
