The Garden As of Mid-June 2012

Some photos of the vegetables in the raised beds, the perennial garden and ... a new bench!

 

 More dirt than plants this time of year. Let's move in closer ....

 

 Above: this raised bed has 4 different kinds of squash and, if you look hard, some sweet potato shoots. There is more going on underground than above ground for the potatoes.

 Peppers, squash and a couple more sweet potatoes.

Tomatoes, kale and -- BEHOLD! -- a new homemade bench -- made from scratch by my wife Stacy.

 

Cucumbers (under all that hay mulch), lettuce and spinach.
