Portland, ME Sunday, May 20, 2012: Over 100 writers, artists and publishers will be guests for the 2012 Maine Comics Arts Festival event! There will be tables of creators, all selling their comics and posters and t-shirts. It's a big. family-friendly day, getting bigger every year.
Rick Lowell of Casablanca Comics is the man behind the festival. If you want to see what it looks like, here's my report for the first one, the 2009 MECAF. And here's a link to the most recent one.

I see I am going to have get out from behind my table and spend a LOT of money on these other fine folks!
Reading cartoons such as these is fun and enjoyable. Time to read cartoons like bunion, Hagar, garfield etc.
