Wings of Desire is a 1987 romantic fantasy film by Wim Wenders about invisible, immortal angels in Berlin. Bruno Ganz plays an angel who has fallen in love with a mortal, and is considering becoming human. But you don't need to know that to see this short scene between Ganz and co-star Peter Falk. This is just a reminder of the those small, wonderful human moments that add up to a satisfying life. I have played this scene over and over, always finding a new meaning, and smiling at Falk's performance.
