YOU'VE GOT ME IN THE SUBURBS Part 2

Some more gag cartoons from YOU'VE GOT ME IN THE SUBURBS, edited by Lawrence Lariar and copyright 1957 by Mr. Lariar. Published by Dodd, Mead and Company in NYC.

Part 1 is here.
Part 3 is here.

Some good gags here, as well as a few not-so-good. There were, at that time, so many markets that even a so-so cartoonist could make a living. I'd like to publicly thank Don Orehek for giving me this book of cartoons last month. Thanks, Don!

Great to scroll down the page and compare drawing styles. Each cartoonist is basically limited to black ink and it's fascinating to see how each has his own take when putting down a line.
